Councillor for Sports, Francisco Hernández, announced today, at a press conference, that the City of Eagle and the Municipal Sports, will be held tomorrow Friday, April 9 at 21.00 pm in the Sports Pavilion Municipal, the traditional "Aquilegia Sports Gala."
According to Francisco Hernández, by a solemn act, will present the awards to athletes and aquiline clubs who have excelled during the year 2009 in the different sports, getting wins in regional championships, national and international.
Sports Councilman wanted to publicly congratulate more than fifty clubs and athletes who have achieved aquiline win the podium of honor, or have been part of Murcia and the Spanish selection in sports such as triathlon, cycling, hockey, soccer , archery, athletics, handball, basketball, wrestling, sailing, swimming, karate and school sports, among others.
Finally, the mayor expressed his satisfaction with the high number of citizens who practice sports in Aguilas, while encouraged all athletes has further trained to be achieved again this year new quests to the sport aquiline.
Hernández has also invited all citizens to exercise sport, using the many good facilities with which the municipality.
