The Brotherhood of the Association for the Defence of History and Traditions of Calabardina organized last Saturday, April 10, at a popular local restaurant, a Gala Dinner attended by over 250 people.
The main purpose of the event was to raise funds for the celebration, the next 8 and 9 May, the traditional Fiesta de la Cruz de Mayo, which annually takes place in the village hooked.
During the ceremony, both the mayor of Eagle and his wife, as the pastor of the church of San José and the village headman of Calabardina, received the Silver Cross and Honorary Membership Card Association.
Similarly, the members Cheles Redondo and Maria José Lobo, received a bouquet of flowers in recognition of their work within the guild.
